Huffington Post Article!

We hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful summer weather. We definitely are and so are our lovely brides and clients. We do have some tricks of the trade on what products and techinques to use to help with the longevity of the makeup.

Aleksandra had the honor of sharing some of her favorite heat resistnat products with HuffPost, they include Armani Beauty, Danessa Myricks and Cozzette beauty. Head over to the article for more!

Real Bride Stephanie

Stephanie was one gorgeous bride! Her look was one of my favorites; simple polished makeup and a classic bun. You really can not go wrong when you choose style that is timeless and classic. We always encourage our brides to stay away from anything too trendy as that will not translate well in time. You want to look at your photos in 5, 10, 20 years and still be happy with the way you looked. Think classic Hollywood, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly - their style withstand the test of time and thats the kind of look you should choose for your wedding day.

Boudoir session - not what you are expecting

Today I wanted to talk to you a little about scheduling some time for yourself to explore your fun, sassy and sexy side. I am talking about a boudoir session! :)

Yes, I know it sounds scary and totally out of character for most of us to strut around in lingerie in front of a stranger and to top that off - being photographed! ugh!

But what if I told you this would be a life changing, transforming and super fun experience you will never forget and end up with some Ahhmazing! photos of yourself that you can gift to your boyfriend, hubby or even to yourself.

My friend Lori, the owner of Lori Mann Photography, has been photographing women for over 20 years! She started her career in LA and now we are oh so lucky to have her here in Philadelphia.

Her sessions are fun and relaxed, and there are no males allowed on the set so you can get as comfortable as you want to.

You are the one who decides how tame or risky you want your photos to be. You can wear a tank top and boy shorts or nothing at all.

If you are looking for a fun gift idea for an anniversary, wedding, or birthday present for your man, this will be one unforgettable surprise for him!

And as a side note, I’ll be the one doing your hair and makeup!

To top it all off, Lori is offering a special discount exclusively for my clients and followers!

We just can't get enough of gorgeous Sarah!

Today we are featuring this super fun dress by Rue De Seine from Lovely Bride Philadelphia. The crochet detail and removable shoulder bands are just so alluring!

Since this dress has such a 60s vibe we wanted to pair with with makeup and hair what would fit in that era as well. Soft easy hair, pinned to one side with a hair comb by Untamed Petals.

Makeup is also very effortless with flared lashes and a bit more black liner to add to that 60's feel. Brown toned lipstick is timeless and enhances Sarah's beautiful complexion and freckles.

Real bride: Becky

Becky and James got married on a beautiful fall day at the Horticulture Center marries I am just in love with the amazing photos by Jessica Hendrix Photography who captured the style, mood and love between those two perfectly.

Makeup was done by me (Aleksandra) and hair by Jaclyn. Becky wanted a very classic makeup with a bold red lip and simple eye with lots of lashes and black eyeliner. She has an amazing head of red locks which Jackie pinned up into this stunning updo - which went perfectly with the whole look.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
