Today I wanted to talk to you a little about scheduling some time for yourself to explore your fun, sassy and sexy side. I am talking about a boudoir session! :)

Yes, I know it sounds scary and totally out of character for most of us to strut around in lingerie in front of a stranger and to top that off - being photographed! ugh!

Bridal Beauty Lookbook Series

We just can't get enough of gorgeous Sarah! 

Today we are featuring this super fun dress by Rue De Seine from Lovely Bride Philadelphia. The crochet detail and removable shoulder bands are just so alluring!
 

Since this dress has such a 60s vibe we wanted to pair with with makeup and hair what would fit in that era as well. Soft easy hair, pinned to one side with a hair comb by Untamed Petals.

Makeup is also very effortless with flared lashes and a bit more black liner to add to that 60's feel. Brown toned lipstick is timeless and enhances Sarah's beautiful complexion and freckles.

Becky and James got married on a beautiful fall day at the Horticulture Center marries I am just in love with the amazing photos by Jessica Hendrix Photography who captured the style, mood and love between those two perfectly.

Makeup was done by me (Aleksandra) and hair by Jaclyn. Becky wanted a very classic makeup with a bold red lip and simple eye with lots of lashes and black eyeliner. She has an amazing head of red locks which Jackie pinned up into this stunning updo - which went perfectly with the whole look.

Stylized shoot

Today we are featuring some photos we did with Carina Romano. Our lovely model Melissa was a perfect face for a classic red lip that complimented this cute red dress I found at Ceuntry 21.  We wanted this shoot to be fresh, cute and breezy and I believe that we accomplished it pretty well!

I used KohGenDo Aqua Foundation to create a flawless canvas for the bright lip. That is my biggest tip for you if you are trying to pull of a red or any bright tone on your lips. You have to conceal all redness in your face. You will be amazed with the difference! Try it!
 

On the eyes I used Charlotte Tilbury Feline Flick Pen - really my favorite for a precise and defined liner.

Aleksandra's picks - Spring 2016 Couture Fashion Shows : Valentino

This Grecian inspired collection fresh from Paris is full of rich detailing that any queen would envy and still whimsical, feminine and a bit seductive. Think chiffon, gold print, velvet and embroidered butterflies. 

Makeup  done by the legendary Pat McGrath was kept clean and fresh with peachy accents on eyes and lips.The skin has a glow from within quality with satin finish thats both classic and modern. 

Hair styled by Gudio Palau was parted in the middle, sleeked and swept to the back; accented by custom snake headpiece by Harumi Klossowski.

Real Bride Jenna

Last year with had the pleasure of doing makeup and hair for Jenna. Her  early spring wedding took place at Vie  and her and the bridal party were getting ready at the Le Meridien in  Philadelphia. Jenna was definitely a very glamorous bride and she had a vision of a modern yet classic look that we always love. She wanted a smooth vintage style on her hair and a very Hollywood makeup with a pop of fuchsia lip color. I think this look fit her perfectly!
